How do I find available positions with Ausenco?

Go to the Search for career opportunities section of the Ausenco website. You can search for positions by selecting a location from the listing, or to see all current openings, select ‘Any’.

How do I apply for a job?

Once you have found an available position that you wish to apply for click on the ‘Apply for this Position’ button on the job ad page. If you have already created a profile, you can log in and use your previously entered information. You will be given the opportunity to make updates to your profile, if necessary. If you haven´t registered, you will be required to enter your details to begin the profile building and application process.

I can’t find any relevant available positions, can I still apply?

To be considered for roles at Ausenco globally you will need to create a profile on our recruitment system. The link to create a profile is here.

Once you have created an account you will be able to search vacancies globally and apply to any that are of interest to you. You can also set up search agents based on your areas of interest and you will automatically be notified when suitable vacancies are posted. You will also be visible to all Ausenco recruiters when they are searching for candidates to fill roles.

Will I need a resume or CV?

Yes. You will need a resume or CV to complete the application process.

How do I submit a resume or CV?

As part of the application process, you will be asked for this information. If you attached a resume or CV when you created your profile you will not need to upload the document again. However, if you wish to attach a different resume or CV, you may upload a new document and indicate the new resume or CV as the relevant material for the application.

What if I have trouble submitting my resume or CV online?

You may be trying to attach a document type that is not supported by our site, or that is too large. Generally, Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx) Adobe (.pdf), Text (.txt and .rtf) and .html are compatible formats for upload. If you are still having difficulty uploading a document you can paste a plain text version into the available space.

Do I have to submit my application online?

Yes. Only applications received online will be accepted. This is in your best interest as all online applications will be stored in our applicant database and be available for viewing by our recruitment personnel. All applications will be treated as confidential.

Can I change my application?

As long as the available position is still accepting applications you may make updates to your application. You will find the list of your submitted applications once you have logged into your profile. Click on the application you wish to update and then click on ‘Edit application’.

When will I know the outcome of my application?

Due to the number of applications received, please understand that we cannot respond directly to each individual applicant. Depending on the volume of applications and requirements for certain roles the recruitment process may take several weeks. You will be contacted by one of our recruitment specialists if more information is required or you have been short listed for the position.

Who can I contact for more information?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide contact information for each job posting. Due to the broad scope of work at Ausenco the recruitment process may differ by country and position. On occasion a direct contact may be provided on the job ad but in many cases there may be various people handling the different stages of the process.

What happens after I lodge my application?

All applications are reviewed by the relevant recruitment personnel who will ascertain your suitability for the role based on experience and job requirements. You will be contacted if you are successful in progressing further and may be asked to attend an interview with the recruitment personnel and/or relevant hiring manager.

Non-successful applicants’ details will be retained for potential future roles. Should any of your details change and you are still interested in a role with Ausenco, please log in and update your profile.

What is recruitment fraud or scam?

These scams are conducted via the internet and email using fake company websites or by sending unsolicited emails purporting to be from an Ausenco employee or from our company careers site. The communications request personal data and often a request to forward cash on the pretext that this is to finalise the bogus employment opportunity or visa. Information gained by scammers can be used for identity fraud.

How do I recognise a scam recruitment offer?

The scams can often be sophisticated so that emails and documents look like they are from Ausenco, and can include a supposed job offer. They then request sensitive personal and financial data, banking details and other data that can be used for illegal purposes.

How can we avoid recruitment scam?

Genuine communication from Ausenco originates from an Ausenco.com domain; never from a Google, Yahoo, Hotmail or other internet hosted account. Ausenco’s recruiters and hiring managers would not request personal or financial information via email and would never request money transfers. Ausenco’s recruitment processes include at least one interview process prior to any job offer.

What should I do to avoid being scammed?

Do not send money to further employment prospects. Ausenco never requests money for such purposes.

Do not supply personal or financial data to persons you do not know.

Do not continue to communicate if you suspect the originator may be fraudulent. Please let us know via careers@ausenco.com

How can I check if the person I’m talking to is authorised to recruit for Ausenco?

If you are suspicious about an approach from someone in relation to a role at Ausenco, please email your queries or concerns to careers@ausenco.com and provide copies of any relevant emails. Our team will respond to you quickly to let you know if the approach is genuine or otherwise. Please send us any original emails regarding suspect activity, including the subject line, without altering it in any way.

If we become aware of fraudulent activities we will take actions to report them to the relevant government and regulatory authorities.
