Within risk management and prevention, Albis has served as lead auditor, checking compliance standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 55001 and OHSAS 18001. He also has expertise in emergency response management, implementing, evaluating and improving systems under standards like ISO 22320, API 1173/1174, NFPA 1600, FEMA/US AID-Incident Command System (ICS) and UKOPA´s.
At Ausenco, Albis oversees asset integrity system processes. He provides guidance to eliminate process variability and uncertainty for critical assets. He leads, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates tasks, implementing asset integrity processes and ensuring proper management of critical assets for clients. When contracted, Albis acts as project manager, performing technical audits, retrospective or forensic audits, and gap analyses. Parallel to his responsibilities, Albis manages the integrity management, data science and analytics department. He provides long-term sustainable solutions for critical assets and pipeline management through data for informed decision-making.
Albis holds a specialized program certificate in engineering project management from William Marsh Rice University, Texas, USA, and a master's degree in environmental audits and business planning from the Institute of Ecological Studies of Malaga in Spain. He also earned degrees in internal relations and environmental and sustainable development from the Central University of Venezuela and a diploma in high-performance management from Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela.
