Ari has extensive structural and seismic design experience in concrete, steel, wood, and masonry for the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. He has a strong background in existing building alterations and modifications and seismic upgrade designs, from assessments through design to construction implementation. Ari is familiar with the current performance-based design approach and various structural design codes and standards, including the British Columbia Building Code, National Building Code of Canada, International Building Code and ASCE standards. He has also been involved in the design and construction of various new residential high-rise and commercial buildings.

Ari’s recent major infrastructure projects include Port Mann Water Supply Tunnel Fraser River Crossing in Surrey, British Columbia (BC); seismic upgrade and design of new elevator building addition at Translink South SeaBus Terminal in Vancouver, BC; seismic upgrades of school buildings for various school districts in BC; various structural upgrade to an existing grain terminal facility (Viterra) in Vancouver, BC; and seismic upgrade of the Department of National Defence Area Support Unit building in Chilliwack.

Ari has a Master of Applied Science in Structural Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a Sarjana Teknik S1 (Bachelor of Science eq.) in Civil-Structural Engineering from the University of Indonesia.
