Bianca is a Comminution Specialist with over 15 years of experience leading the design of comminution circuits across the Americas. She completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at the University of Sao Paulo and PhD in mineral processing at the University of Queensland (JKMRC). She was awarded the prestigious Ian Morley Prize in recognition of her research excellence, leadership, personality and commitment to outcomes.

In her current role as a Regional Practice Lead, Process, Bianca works in collaboration with teams in both North and South American, mentoring local process teams, supporting the planning and implementation of design engineering policies, procedures and organizational development plans. In this capacity, she ensures high-quality services are delivered throughout all offices.

Bianca has extensive experience in design, modelling and simulation of comminution circuits, focusing on energy efficiency and lean design. Her previous accomplishments include planning and supervising testwork programs, geometallurgy, process optimisation and development of smart expansion strategies.
