Dr. Foggiatto has more than 17 years’ experience in metallurgical and process engineering. She completed her PhD degree at the University of Queensland specialising in modelling and simulation of processing circuits, comminution circuit design, optimisation and energy efficiency.
In the beginning of her career, she worked with management/planning of laboratory and pilot test work as well as industrial surveys with focus on plant design, debottlenecking and optimisation. In 2012 she joined Ausenco and worked in all project stages, from concept to detailed design, due diligences as well as site-based optimisation studies related to most key mining commodities. Recently, she was assigned as Technical Director in Comminution and Processing. Dr. Foggiatto collaborates with Ausenco’s global offices to support the planning and implementation of specification or design engineering policies, as well as procedures and organisational development plans to ensure high-quality services are delivered across all offices.
