Chris is a Chemical Engineer with 15 years of experience in the oil and gas, gold, iron ore, mineral sands and coal industries. His experience ranges from engineering design, coal preparation plant design and commissioning, coal preparation plant optimisation and study management.

Chris has held senior and lead process roles within the coal industry, from studies to engineering design, construction, and commissioning. Chris has worked closely with most Australian coal mining companies, providing the practical expertise needed for design and commissioning. While the bulk of Chris’ experience is in the coal industry, Chris has experience in multiple other industries ranging from oil and gas to gold.

He joined Ausenco in 2018 and is responsible for leading a team of process engineers as well as managing design studies and projects. Prior to joining Ausenco, Chris held Business Development and Senior Process Engineering roles within QCC Resources.

Chris is an active contributor to the Australian Coal Preparation Society. Particularly, he is a Director on the National Board and a Committee Member of the NSW Branch of the Society. His papers and articles have been published multiple times in the International Coal Preparation Congress and Australian Coal Preparation Conferences.
