Cindy has worked in the minerals processing industry for over 25 years, the majority of which have been spent in the projects and engineering services sector. Cindy has led projects spanning all development phases from concept through to commissioning. She has gained deep, broad-based project delivery knowledge, having completed eight execution phase projects and numerous feasibility studies, audits, and design reviews.
As a result of her extensive global project experience, Cindy has gained industry-leading understanding of precious and base metals mineral processing for a range of ore types. Cindy has a keen interest in project optimisation and value enhancement.
Project experience at Ausenco includes lead process engineering roles on St Barbara’s Fifteen Mile Stream project feasibility study, Paramount Nevada’s Grassy Mountain gold project feasibility study, Artemis Gold’s Blackwater gold project feasibility study, Spanish Mountain Gold prefeasibility study and First Mining Gold’s Springpole project prefeasibility and feasibility studies, along with various project reviews.
Cindy holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a certificate in business management in mining. She is a member of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
