As a mining professional and former scout leader in Peru, I strive to develop each project better than the last to ensure that the world is a better place for future generations.

Daniel is a Process Engineer and Studies Manager with over 20 years of experience in mining projects, engineering design, and metallurgical testing for mineral processing plants. He has an extensive track record of leading cross-functional teams to identify project and operational improvements by focusing on collaboration and identifying the key drivers of the business and plant performance. He has participated in all stages of a project, from study phases through to field engineering.

As Director, Technical Services based in our Lima office, Daniel is responsible for maintaining a consistent culture of studies across his team, establishing strategies for CAPEX/OPEX for engineering, and leading the studies team and process team. In addition, he brings over 10 years of extensive lab experience with a renowned metallurgical laboratory in Peru, where he designed and supervised the metallurgical flotation and hydrometallurgy testing programs for comminution, flotation and hydrometallurgical processing, as well as performed modelling and simulation work for mineral processing plants. These test programs were developed for projects including Constancia and Mina Justa in Peru.

Daniel has been involved in many key South American projects as a Process Lead and as Project Manager, including the Zafranal Project (FS), the Quebradona Project (PFS), Soto Norte (FS) Magistral (PFS), the Las Bambas Third Ball Mill Project (FS), and the San Gabriel Project (PFS, FS, Permitting Engineering. & EP).
