Daniel has 12 years of broad experience in the Australian coal industry. His expertise spans from engineering design, to project delivery and production, complimenting his qualifications in project management, chemical engineering and science.

Daniel’s project and processing experience covers all project phases from desktop studies, concept, and feasibility studies through to detailed design, on-site construction support, commissioning and hand-over. He has worked in a variety of settings including large greenfield processing plant projects, brownfield upgrades, debottlenecking, and small projects in operating production facilities. Throughout his career, he has delivered value for a wide range of clients including Glencore, BHP Billiton, Anglo American, Kestrel Coal Resources, and Wesfarmers.

Since joining Ausenco in 2017, Daniel has used his experience and knowledge of the Australian coal industry to assist in expanding Ausenco’s coal capability, including recruiting industry recognised experts, developing capabilities, and establishing relationships with key clients. Prior to Ausenco, Daniel had held various positions with Glencore, Wesfarmers, Anglo American, and QCC Resources.

Whilst diversifying his experience into project and study management, Daniel is constantly seeking to bring innovative solutions from the broader mining sectors into the coal industry.
