Dánisa Thomas began her career specializing in the paper industry before transitioning to mining, where she has led major projects in the national industry. In 2021, she was appointed Structural Engineer Specialist at our Santiago office, gaining deeper insights and a more strategic perspective on her role.

Currently, Dánisa heads the Structures team at Ausenco Chile. She is renowned for her technical expertise and her ability to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Her dedication to team development and the creation of standardized methodologies ensures quality and efficiency across all projects.

Dánisa’s collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning have been crucial to the success of her projects, including her leadership on the copper and magnetite concentrator plant for Capstone Copper's Santo Domingo project.

She holds a Civil Engineering degree with a focus on Structures and Construction from the University of Chile.
