As Operations Manager, Asset Optimization, David Leduc oversees Ausenco’s Montreal-based asset optimization specialists, ensuring their skill sets align with our clients’ goals. He thrives when building and maintaining client relationships and follows the accomplishments of each project to ensure expectations are met. David’s industry experience spans mining and metallurgy, oil and gas, environment and water, and infrastructure and clean power. David has nearly 20 years of experience in Asset and Reliability Management. His experience includes leading equipment fleet and maintenance teams in many countries; he has also worked as an Asset Management consultant for over 5 years. In addition, for 15+ years, David honed his skills in work management before discovering his passion for coaching others to become better maintenance managers.

Since joining Ausenco, David has been a major contributor to the ArcelorMittal project, providing project management, coaching, and shutdown management.

Prior to joining Ausenco, David managed CMMS implementation projects for Cogep Inc. Maintenance Software. He also spent 9 years with SNC-Lavalin managing the firm’s asset management division. David and his team achieved a 95%+ level of availability on a €300 Million mobile equipment fleet located in a dozen job sites.

David’s educational background includes a degree in Industrial Engineering from Lionel-Groulx College in Québec, as well as leadership training from SNC Lavalin’s inhouse Senior Leadership Program.
