Everson is an Operations Manager based in Brazil, bringing over 36 years of experience in engineering, project management and construction management for the Minerals and Metals sector. He has led major zinc smelting projects, and his portfolio of engineering work portfolio includes projects in iron ore, fertilizer, and Railroad Systems Engineering logistics throughout Brazil, Argentina, Malaysia, and Chile. As Operations Manager, Everson is responsible for leading his team to provide fit-for-purpose and value-added solutions for our clients’ projects. Additionally, he oversees the strategic pursuit of opportunities as well as championing Ausenco’s goal to be recognized as a leader in the Brazilian Minerals and Metals project delivery space.
Before joining Ausenco, Everson held various roles, including General Manager of Operations at Progen Engineering, where he managed the engineering services portfolio for Mining, Metals and Logistics. With his strengths in engineering, project management, construction management and leadership, Everson has added immeasurable value to the companies in which he’s worked. Some of his major projects include engineering and implementing the Polimetallic I Zinc Recyclycling project in Brazil, concept definition, CAPEX and basic engineering for the Polymetallic II Lead Smelter in Brazil, and the implementation of Powders Soft Drinks and Chocolates units in Curitiba, Brazil.
Everson is a qualified Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Engineering) University of São Paulo and has a degree in Business Administration, Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo.
