I was fortunate to have been involved in some of the most complex projects and have met many experts in multiples areas throughout my career. This has shaped my approach to projects: always think from the client’s perspective and motivate my team to deliver valuable and sustainable solutions.

Fabio’s experience spans from concept design through to commissioning and operational readiness. He is specialised in project management with a focus on engineering.

Throughout his career, he has led multicultural teams across different disciplines on many greenfield and brownfield projects. While at SKM Brazil, he successfully delivered the multi-billion-dollar Vale Carajas S11D Truckless Greenfield project – the plant produced 90 million tonnes of iron ore per year. Prior to joining Ausenco, he managed a multi-discipline team at Fortescue Metals Group to handover the Wet Highly Intensive Magnet Separation Plant at Christmas Creek.

Currently at Ausenco he’s leading a team working on a detailed design for a gold plant in Indonesia, with an aim to reduce tailings disposal by filtration and dry stacking.

Fabio holds MBA degrees in Project Management and Financial Market.
