For a project to be technically, environmentally, socially and economically successful, there needs to be sustainable planning, and I am convinced that through the integrated work of our multidisciplinary teams we can find a better way to do this.

Giselle has over 18 years of experience, and as an environmental expert based in the Lima office, she is responsible for the management of mine closure and environmental liabilities projects, environmental impact assessments (EIA), and feasibility and detailed studies, among others. Some of the most important mining projects she has been involved in include the Prefeasibility Study for the Closure of the Cerro Corona Mine of Gold Fields La Cima in Cajamarca, Peru and the Third Modification of the Closure Plan of the Cajamarquilla Refinery of Nexa Resources in Lima, Peru.

She demonstrates effective leadership of multidisciplinary teams and has a results-oriented approach. Giselle is recognized for her passion in organizing work that adheres to quality, safety and environmental standards and aligning her team with Ausenco's core values, in particular "Our people are our strength".

Giselle has a degree in environmental and natural resources engineering from the University of Callao, a master’s degree in environmental sciences with a focus in Pollution Management and Control from the University of San Marcos, and a diploma in project management from the Institute of Project Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has also taken several other courses in mine closure and environmental legislation.
