James delivers phase one and two environmental site assessments, permitting support, remediation services, compliance audits and environmental management systems for projects in the oil and gas, transportation, industrial and commercial sectors. He has significant expertise in waste management, including completing and maintaining waste permits and utilising federal and provincial e-manifest systems. He has maintained hazardous waste databases for large industrial clients, and obtained environmental compliance approvals for waste and sewage works. His skills also include wastewater and stormwater management, implementing and maintaining permits to take and discharge water.
In his current role, James provides senior reviews, client management, formulates proposals and mentor’s junior-level employees to successful deliver projects. He has in-depth knowledge of provincial and federal legislation within Canada, interacting with regulators such as the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).
James is also the business development leader for earth and environment services in Eastern Canada. He manages relationships with several clients in the mining, oil and gas, government and transportation sectors. As their main contact, he ensures their needs are met and project deliverables are of the highest quality.
James has been a registered environmental professional specialising in waste management with Eco Canada since 2018 and a compliance environmental auditor since 2025.
