James has experience completing phase one and two environmental site assessments and audits in the oil and gas, transportation, industrial and commercial sectors. His expertise lies in conducting comprehensive environmental site assessments, permitting, remediation, compliance auditing and management systems. Working with the Toronto Transit Commission, Imperial Oil and many other clients in diverse industries, James develops, updates and maintains management systems.
James has significant waste management experience, particularly in completing and maintaining waste permits and utilizing federal e-manifest systems. His skills encompass wastewater and stormwater management, implementing and maintaining permits to take and discharge water. Maintaining the hazardous waste database for large industrial clients, James has completed waste and sewage works environmental compliance approvals.
As a leader, he provides senior reviews, undertakes client management, formulates proposals and mentors junior-level employees. James has in-depth knowledge of provincial and federal legislation within Canada, interacting with regulators such as the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).
