Jorge has more than 20 years of experience leading complex and fast-growing organisations, as well as multidisciplinary teams in the energy, mining, technology, and infrastructure sectors with a practical and results-oriented approach.
He has held leadership positions in companies such as IBM, Wood, and ABB, where he oversaw strategy development and led the implementation of carbon reduction, electrification, and automation solutions. Currently, Jorge leads Ausenco’s asset optimisation team in South America, where he is responsible for business strategy, strengthening our operational readiness capabilities, and supporting key customer relationships.
Jorge holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering and master’s degrees in finance and industrial engineering from Adolfo Ibáñez University in Chile. He also has an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Jorge has an inclusive leadership style and believes in taking a holistic approach to business and project management.
