Over Kevin's thirty-year career his clients have included Fortune and Global 500 firms across a diversity of industrial sectors from mining, energy, consumer goods, transportation, manufacturing, apparel, and retail. He represented Canada in the development of the ISO environmental management standards, and he is a former member of the CSA’s Standards Policy Board. In 2012 Kevin was recognized as a member of Canada’s Clean 16, for his contributions to clean capitalism.
Kevin has extensive experience in the resource sectors including, directing life cycle studies, creating corporate strategies, carbon management policies/programs and responsible mining programs. He designed and facilitated the International Council on Mining and Metals’ (ICMM) Material Stewardship Round Table, a forum that brought leading mining companies together with key stakeholders, to discuss sustainability challenges and solutions.
Kevin was a co-founder of the international sustainability management consulting firm Five Winds International, where he led both corporate and product level sustainability projects. His most recent position was director of his own firm, Sustainable Enterprise Consulting. He is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Industrial Design at Carleton University in Ottawa.
