Laura has a unique combination of experience and formal education in environmental science, sustainability, management systems, policy and regulatory frameworks, project management and communications. As ESG Project Manager, she focuses on managing and delivering ESG advisory services including corporate and project level ESG strategy, baseline and materiality assessments, implementation plans, and the delivery of interviews and workshops. Laura’s experience also includes supporting initiatives around climate change strategy and planning. She has a working knowledge of ESG-related standards and guidelines including GRI, IFC, SASB, RMI, IRMA and TCFD. Her past professional experience includes environmental site assessments, due diligence reviews, EMS and auditing, and health and safety.

Laura’s project experience covers a wide range of sectors including mining, oil and gas, ports and terminals, transportation, land development, manufacturing, utilities and government throughout Canada, mining in the United States and ESG internationally.

As an experienced Project Manager, Laura focuses on opportunity identification and risk management at all stages of a project lifecycle. She takes a collaborative and proactive approach in supporting clients with improved ESG performance and sustainable business practices, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement.

Laura received her degree in Environmental Science from the University of Manitoba and completed her graduate studies in Environmental Management from the Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.
