Leone is Mineral Processing Coordinator based in our Belo Horizonte, Brazil Office. He brings over 12 years of experience developing conceptual, basic and detailed studies and multidisciplinary engineering projects throughout Brazil, Canada, the USA, Russia, Mauritania and Chile.

Leone has a broad skill set within minerals processing engineering and process development. He has worked as a contract manager, managed teams executed technical projects, and led business improvements and R&D studies. Additionally, he has extensive experience in process improvement work that results in reduce costs, as well as experience performing studies focused on increased production and output quality.

Leone’s major projects include the execution of basic and detailed engineering for a pyrochlore beneficiation plant in Ouvidor/Goiás, participation in trade-off studies and conceptual engineering for a gold process plant in Agua Azul/Pará, participation in basic and detailed engineering of a gold plant in Mara Rosa/Goias and participation in trade-off studies and conceptual engineering of tailings transportation and disposal systems for a plant located in Mariana, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
