Liezl is a Study Manager with over 25 years of experience as an engineer. She possesses hands-on operational experience and in-depth knowledge of mining, process and supporting functions.
Liezl steers complex, high value, strategic projects from our Perth office, with a focus on optimal mine planning and development, mineral processing, refining and supporting infrastructure to develop a realistic business case and execution plans.
She has been an industry analyst and study manager for several major investments in Bauxite, Iron ore, Platinum Group Metals, Base Metals in Australia, USA and Southern Africa as well as conceptual studies on renewable energy, fuels and battery minerals in USA, Canada, Africa and Australia.
Recent projects Liezl has been involved in include a pre-feasibility study for the Red Hawk Blacksmith Project in WA, a pre-feasibility study for Antler Copper in Arizona and the Marillana scoping study in WA.
Liezl holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the North West University of South Africa.
