With over 13 years of experience, Parisa has established herself as a proficient Geotechnical Engineer, contributing her skills to the advancement of mining and infrastructure projects both in Canada and abroad. She specializes in seismic numerical modelling, seismic liquefaction assessment, soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering.
Parisa excels in collaborating with cross-functional teams, offering innovative solutions, and ensuring precise project outcomes through rigorous engineering software testing, using GeoSlope package (SEEP/W, Slope/W), Shake, Plaxis, LPile, and Settle 3D.
Parisa has held key roles in leading engineering firms in Canada and Iran, where she served as a Geotechnical Engineer and Project Engineer. Throughout her career, she contributed significantly to projects such as the Consultant Services for the Innovation Hub, City of Vancouver (Canada), conducting analyses like Seep/w and pile design. She also played a crucial role in the Broadway Subway DBF Project, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (Canada), overseeing structural soil interaction analyses for multiple stations and managing extensive site investigations, including over 100 sonic holes and rock coring, among other responsibilities.
Parisa holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. She has also completed additional training in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and is an active member of Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia since 2023. Fluent in both English and Farsi, Parisa is adept at communicating effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
