Peter is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in the mining, oil & gas (upstream & downstream) and infrastructure industries. He has been instrumental in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects, overseeing the delivery of tunnels, roads, wharf structures, module yard fabrication and construction, module installations, rails, buildings, and many more. As a project/construction manager, he's experienced in all project stages - from tender to completion and handover. His main expertise has been the final delivery of challenging projects and mitigation of risk for these projects through sound project control.

Peter was Project Director for the Mina Justa copper project in Ica, Peru - a large-scale project now being delivered within budget and time as per the client's agreement. As project director, he was responsible for the overall project safety, design, procurement, cost, schedule, construction and commissioning, as well as managing a 3500-man camp and contractors. Peter led the delivery of the Mina Justa project through the current unforeseen circumstances with exceptional results.

Before joining Ausenco, Peter was the Corporate Manager of Construction for the industrial and resources division of the CIMIC GROUP (formally Leighton) in Australia for over 14 years and Wood PSN as Australasian Manager Construction for two years. Over his carrier, he developed a sound understanding of contract management, having worked on both the client and contractor side for various ECPM projects globally, from Germany, Argentina, Australia, Dubai, the USA, France, Italy, Philippines, Thailand, Papa New Guinea, Greece, Singapore and Peru.

Peter has a Diploma in Project Management from Swinburne University and a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Chisholm Institute.
