Robert is a Mechanical Engineer, has an MBA and is a Chartered Member of Engineers Australia (IEAust). Over the last 19 years, he has worked for several mining and EPCM companies within Australia, Bulgaria, the Philippines and Indonesia, largely in the gold industry.

He has experience building engineering teams that provide quality multi-disciplinary detailed design services. Over the last several years as an Engineering Manager and Director, Robert has committed himself to providing technical and execution excellence across the board of disciplines and a range of project execution phases, ultimately to provide clients with the highest level of service and value. He is passionate about the mineral processing industry as well as its long term social, environmental and economic sustainability. He believes this is best achieved by questioning the status quo with regard to process plant design, seeking and adopting new technologies and to push the boundaries of engineering.

Robert has recently had an in-depth involvement in cyanide recycling technologies and detoxification. He could not imagine working in any other industry and is passionate about ensuring the next generation of engineers continue to provide quality outcomes.
