I find the risk assessment field rewarding because of the interplay and collaboration needed amongst various technical disciplines to fully understand potential impacts.

Ron is known for providing clear, sound advice in support of projects related to contaminated sites, permit and development applications, and environmental impact assessments. He also offers support for negotiated settlements, hearings and litigation. As a risk communication expert, Ron is recognised for his ability to convey complex technical information in simple, understandable terms.

He has conducted hundreds of assignments for private and public-sector clients, covering programs related to contaminated sites, brownfield redevelopment, and assessing human and ecological effects of chemical exposure. Ron hascompleted studies for transportation projects, energy facilities, mine development and closure, ports and other large infrastructure and development projects several provinces and territories across Canada. With a strong background inrisk mitigation, and developing site closure and monitoring plans, Ron leads projects and has served as an expert witness on health impacts of chemical exposure.

Ron obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science from the University of Western Ontario. He also completed his Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
