Ryan is a registered professional engineer with over 25 years of experience optimizing engineering performance, project execution, and the successful delivery of major mining projects across Canada. As Director of Engineering, GTA, he leads teams through every stage of project development –from early-stage studies to execution and operational handover –ensuring alignment with technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
Known for building high-trust, collaborative environments, Ryan fosters environments where innovation, accountability, and performance thrive. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a background in operations and maintenance, he bridges the gap between technical excellence and practical delivery. His approach is both pragmatic and business-focused. Ryan is passionate about developing solutions that are efficient, maintainable, and built for long-term success.
Over his career, Ryan has held senior leadership roles on multi-billion-dollar mining projects, directing engineering development and delivery from early study phases through construction and into operations.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and Saskatchewan and serves as a director for Chartwell Community Homes, a low-income housing initiative.
