It's natural for me to want to perfect and understand the reasons behind things. If you ask enough questions, at some point you get to the heart of what you're looking for. That's why when I'm assigned a task, I need to understand the purpose. This helps me perform better, aiming to optimize the way to solve the problem and address the purpose.

His expertise spans mining project processes, with a strong focus on biotechnology, leaching, and flotation concentration for gold and copper. Sebastián's career is marked by significant multicultural experience, managing projects collaboratively with teams from our offices in Australia and North America.

In his first year as Process Manager, Sebastián has valued the opportunity to share his knowledge and teach across various platforms within Ausenco. One of his notable projects includes Mantoverde, where he collaborated as the lead of the process discipline at the Santiago office, working closely with the process lead in Brisbane, Australia. Additionally, Sebastián played a pivotal role in the FS-level study of Minera Santo Domingo, contributing to the implementation of innovative technologies with support from Brisbane's SMEs.

Sebastián's academic credentials include a degree in Civil Engineering in Biotechnology from the University of Chile, an MBA in the Mining Industry from the University of Chile, a bachelor's degree in Engineering in Physical and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Chile, and a Master's in Physics from the Catholic University of Chile.
