His experience spans a wide range of commodities, such as copper, gold, lead, zinc, tin, and niobates.
Sergio is recognized as an expert in geometallurgy, flotation, and solid-liquid separation. He has contributed to studies, technical reviews, due diligences, commissioning, and optimization of mineral processing plants in South America and other continents.
Sergio has led data analysis, static and dynamic simulations, and the development of process design packages, including mass balances, design criteria, and equipment sizing. He is also skilled in integrating innovative technologies such as coarse particle flotation, SART, and unconventional tailings treatment solutions.
