Tyler has managed, planned, and implemented numerous utility scale renewable energy (i.e., solar and wind) projects in Alberta. He has managed and conducted wildlife, vegetation, wetland and aquatic habitat assessments, environmental evaluations and biophysical impact assessments to achieve successful regulatory approvals. Tyler has helped develop permitting strategies, navigating clients through project changes and regulatory considerations while maintaining budget and schedules. Tyler has advised and received successful application approvals for Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) Environmental Referral Reports and Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) Rule 007 Applications, AEP Alberta Wetland Rapid Evaluation Tool (ABWRET-A) Wetland Functional Assessments as a Qualified Wetland Science Practitioner (QWSP), Alberta Water Act and Code of Practice Notifications, including Qualified Aquatic Environment Specialist (QAES) Assessments, and Alberta Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women Historical Resources Impact Assessments (HRIA) and Statement of Justifications (SOJ).
