Lima, November 6, 2023 - Ausenco, a global company with more than 20 years of operations in Peru and an outstanding track record in developing and delivering major mining projects, will be participating in the 8th edition of the Tailings Congress Peru 2023, in Lima from the 16th to the 17th of November.
The Tailings Congress Peru 2023 is a technical and specialized forum bringing together national and international professionals to share experiences and knowledge on an important topic impacting the mining industry – efficient tailings management.
On Thursday, November 16 at 8:30 am, Claudio Román, Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Ausenco Chile, will present on “Consulting experience in implementing GISTM in the region” to talk about how this global standard streamlined governance systems and share Ausenco’s implementation experience.
Román will also participate in the panel discussion 1, International Guidelines and their Application to the Peruvian Reality, hosted on the same day at 11:10 am. This panel will address the effectiveness of adopting international guidelines in local mining operations.
