Every year the Canadian Occupational Safety magazine recognises Canadian companies with outstanding accomplishments in promoting the health and safety of their workers through the Canada’s Safest Employers awards. At a special awards dinner in Toronto last night, we were delighted to receive the Gold award in our category. This is the first time Ausenco has been awarded gold at the awards, after having received silver in the Mining and Natural Resources category for four out of the last five years.
“It’s a great honour to receive this award. Our culture has a very strong focus on advocating ‘safety in all we do’ and in fulfilling our commitment to letting nothing compromise our safety performance,” said Simon Cmrlec, Chief Operating Officer.
