Our team of experienced and knowledgeable specialists identifies interactions and designs mitigation strategies that enhance or maintain biodiversity in terrestrial environments.
We provide ecological and ecosystem surveys, along with planning and management services to clients. Our team has extensive experience working with a variety of wildlife and plant species in diverse ecosystems, ranging from marine shorelines to boreal forests, wetlands, grasslands and alpine environments. We conduct wildlife, plant and ecosystem inventories at project sites, using a combination of recognised standard survey techniques and advanced technologies such as environmental DNA (eDNA) analysis, bioacoustics monitoring, and Unoccupied Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones).
Our specialists work together to map ecosystems and habitats, assessing the impact of development and restoration on terrestrial habitats. To support the protection of sensitive areas, we develop and implement Environmental Compensation Plans (ECPs) in compliance with regulatory requirements for fragile ecosystems. Our registered professional biologists and technicians are well-versed in relevant legislation and best management practices for wildlife, ecosystems, and species at risk, and are experienced in planning mitigation to avoid and minimise impacts.
Our field crews welcome the participation of Indigenous groups and are committed to working collaboratively to integrate the traditional knowledge shared with us. This approach builds a more comprehensive understanding of environmental resources and sensitivities. We are pleased to offer capacity-building and training opportunities for Indigenous groups and value the contributions they bring to our team and project delivery.
We maintain strong relationships with recognised species experts, enabling access to specialised knowledge when needed. We are committed to innovation and continuously seek better ways to protect biodiversity while providing exceptional service and guidance to clients.
