Jane brings extensive expertise in HSE system implementation, risk management, regulatory compliance, contractor management and quality assurance. She supports both corporate operations and managing site safety for major engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) and brownfield projects.
Responsible for overseeing the safety of Ausenco’s North American projects, Jane has extensive experience developing and implementing behaviour-based safety programs and contractor forums across diverse projects. Her focus is on aligning the workforce and project execution by embedding proactive safety practices into daily operations and fostering a culture of accountability, awareness, and shared responsibility.
Adaptable to diverse cultural contexts, Jane maintains consistent safety standards while promoting global knowledge sharing. She leads high-performing HSE teams across multiple countries and is recognised for building a collaborative, risk-informed safety culture.
As a strong advocate for human performance principles, Jane integrates these across the business to connect procedural compliance, operational risk management and psychosocial well-being. Her approach cultivates a resilient safety culture by encouraging open communication, learning from variability, and empowering teams to understand the 'why' behind safe practices.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Houston in the United States, along with certifications from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET). Jane is also certified in risk management through ECRI Engineering and Construction Risk and has completed the driving corporate performance program at Harvard Business School.
