Lauren has 15 years of experience as a marine specialist and is a registered professional biologist. She has applied her marine and freshwater science expertise across a wide range of project contexts, collaborating with industry, NGOs, Indigenous partners, and academic institutions from tropical regions to the Arctic. At Ausenco, her work encompasses marine ecology; environmental planning, management, and audits; and environmental impact assessments.
As National Director, Environmental Planning & Ecology, Lauren provides strategic and technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary projects. She excels in executing and managing technical components from design through post-construction monitoring and leads high-performing teams to deliver the highest standards of safety, quality, and scientific rigour. She oversees major environmental programs from the Lower Mainland to the Canadian Arctic, with project work including permitting; effectiveness monitoring; habitat offsetting and banking; expert advisory services; and compliance auditing.
Lauren works closely with other leaders to drive business growth, expand service offerings and support the delivery of exceptional client outcomes. She is committed to fostering an engaging, supportive employee experience that enables team members to grow while contributing to impactful environmental work.
