Holding an undergraduate diploma in Aquatic/Marine Biology and Environmental Sciences, and a graduate diploma in the Environmental Sciences, Andrea has accumulated 22 years of consulting experience related to environmental and social impact assessment, environmental due diligence in transactions, environmental audits and stakeholder engagement. She has been involved in the completion of over 40 environmental assessment and impact studies. She has significant experience from project management, business development to leading field programs and teams. She has also worked at the interface with engineering teams, designing and implementing mitigation measures for mines, hydroelectric dams and water management projects.

Her work has involved private and public sector clients at the municipal, provincial, federal and international levels. Andrea has provided senior environmental and social expertise on many due diligence projects for large transactions. She has led major International mining projects and hydroelectric EIAs, Environmental Due Diligences and Audits in Canada, the US, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Panama, French Guiana, Costa Rica, Peru, Honduras, Argentina and Ecuador, managing teams of local and overseas consultants. In many of these locations, she has also worked on incorporating IFC and World Bank Standards within EAs (SEIAs, and SEAs) and Gap Analyses.
