Arturo is a skilled process engineer with over 24 years of experience in the mineral processing industry. He has successfully participated in projects and studies, primarily in lead roles, and managed multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex plant designs.

Arturo has acquired experience in a broad range of unit processes and extensive experience across a range of commodities covering copper, gold, lithium, uranium, nickel, zinc, lead, vanadium, iron, rare earths and industrial chemicals. He has conducted technical reviews of operational plants, along with due diligences and peer reviews of technical designs.

His competencies include testwork planning and results interpretation, flowsheet development, plant design, commissioning, and optimisation of existing operations. He has recognised expertise in flotation and hydrometallurgy of base metals, gold processing, as well as treatment and refining of battery metals. Arturo's experience spans projects in Australia, Africa, South America, and Asia, where he has provided technical support and worked for extended periods.

Arturo’s strong leadership and technical expertise have significantly contributed to the success of various projects throughout his career.

He is a fellow and chartered professional of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).
