David is the Vice President of Minerals & Metals for Southwest USA, bringing over 35 years of experience in the mining, oil and gas, and construction sectors. With a proven track record in mining operations, permitting, and delivering large-scale projects, David has successfully led teams and delivered complex initiatives worldwide. He has held senior roles at leading companies, including Newmont Gold, Nordgold, New Mexico Copper, and Sabre Gold Corp., where he combined technical expertise, operational excellence, and strategic leadership.

As Vice President, David is responsible for guiding the Minerals and Metals team in the Southwest USA, shaping its strategic direction, cultivating client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering innovative solutions. His deep industry knowledge and hands-on leadership make him an invaluable asset in steering Ausenco’s success in the region.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and an Arctic Engineering Certification from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He is an active member of various associations such as the Arizona Education Economic Commission, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico Mining Associations, and was a previous board member of the Uranium Producers of America.
