Diane is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Contaminated Sites Approved Professional (CSAP) with over 25 years of experience in the fields of environmental site assessment and remediation, soil and groundwater treatment and management, and obtaining regulatory closure for contaminated sites.
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, Diane has developed work plans, budgets, and schedules for both large- and small-scale projects and has seen projects through to successful completion while managing scope, schedule, resource, and budget challenges. Diane is skilled at ensuring effective communication within the team and externally with the client throughout a project, ensuring that the client’s goals are achieved. Diane provides superior client service and responsiveness, as well as timely and cost-effective delivery of technically-sound reports.
Diane has extensive experience with the provincial regulatory regime for contaminated sites, as well as those of local municipalities, including obtaining development and occupancy permits for commercial redevelopments for real estate owners, developers, transportation, oil & gas, and provincial government clients.
As a CSAP, Diane reviews and approves technical reports (including Screening Level Risk Assessments) for the issuance of closure certificates from the BC Ministry of Environment. Diane also acts as Chevron’s “Subject Matter Expert”, providing regulatory advice and direction to Chevron with respect to their portfolio of former service stations, card locks, bulk plants, and marinas in BC.
Diane is an Environmental Engineer with a degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and she also has a degree in Biology from the same institution. She has her P.Eng. in both Ontario and BC.
