Scott is the Global Lead of Geotechnical Services for the Environment & Sustainability business line at Ausenco. He has more than 18 years of experience in the mining industry and 25 years in civil design.
Scott has sponsored several of Ausenco’s large South American projects and has significant hands-on experience in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and the USA. He is a registered civil engineer in the State of California and has spent most of his career in the mining and solid municipal waste management fields.
His experience includes project management, design, and construction of heap leach pads, mine waste storage facilities (tailings and waste rock), industrial, and petroleum waste managements projects worldwide.
He has worked on most of the world's largest conventional, valley fill and on/off leach pads. In recent years has worked on several of large tailings storage facilities in the Americas.
