Sharon is a seasoned environmental engineer and project manager specialising in contaminated site investigations and regulatory compliance. She provides services for regulatory and land development, due diligence for property transfers, remedial options analysis, remediation design and management and stakeholder engagement.
Sharon is also the practice lead for the site assessment and remediation team, overseeing the governance and implementation of the professional practice management plan. She curates standard operating procedures for client services, cultivates a community of practice and drives innovation and technology within the team. Her leadership ensures adherence to best practices and promotes continuous improvement.
Sharon oversees various environmental programs under the British Columbia and Yukon Contaminated Sites Regulation and federal regulatory regimes in Canada. Her work includes contaminated sites investigation and remediation, surface water and groundwater monitoring, and soil and groundwater management on construction sites. She has worked on petroleum distribution terminals, pump stations, former service stations and bulk plants, dry cleaning facilities, landfills, automotive recycling yards, highway works yards, former railway yards, former shipyards, airports, mines and construction sites.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and Engineers Yukon.
