Vishnu is a Lead Structural Engineer at Ausenco with extensive experience delivering structural engineering solutions for complex mining and mineral processing projects worldwide. Since joining Ausenco as a Graduate Engineer, he has advanced into a key technical and leadership role, contributing to major projects across multiple commodities and international operations.
His technical expertise includes layout development, design of large steel and reinforced concrete structures, dynamic analysis, material handling infrastructure, and advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA). He has worked across the full project lifecycle, including concept studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed engineering, construction support, and brownfield upgrades.
Vishnu focuses on the full project lifecycle, delivering practical, fit-for-purpose designs that optimise performance, cost, and constructability from early design through operation. He thrives in multidisciplinary teams and turns each project’s challenges into opportunities for growth.
He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
Vishnu has an extensive global portfolio and has supported projects across Australia, Africa, Asia, North America, and South America. Key projects include Constancia (Peru), Cadia (NSW), Lihir (PNG), Mina Justa (Peru), Winu Copper (WA), Magino (Canada), Martabe (Indonesia), and Zafranal (Peru).
He is currently based in Lima, Peru, where he recently held a lead role on the Zafranal Project.
