Wladimir is the tailings lead for our offices in Chile, where he manages multidisciplinary tailings engineering projects, always prioritizing efficiency and safety. His practical approach and ability to implement improvements without compromising design integrity have been key to his success. Throughout his career, he has excelled in the planning, supervision, and analysis of geotechnical tests, as well as in the preparation of technical reports and calculations for civil and mining projects.
Wladimir has extensive experience in geotechnics and tailings projects. He began his career ensuring the quality of tests and operational monitoring of tailings dams. After several years in the field and in laboratories, he specialized in geotechnics and worked on iconic projects. His experience includes developing detailed engineering designs and managing mining waste, as well as supporting the commissioning and initial years of operation for conventional and unconventional tailings projects across various operational phases nationally and internationally.
He holds a Civil Engineering degree with a specialization in Structures and Construction from the University of Chile, specializing in geotechnics and tailings. He is a graduate of the Master’s program in Geotechnical Engineering from the same university and also holds a Master's degree in Project Evaluation and Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
