Andrés is the Vice President of Ausenco in Peru and has extensive experience leading high-complexity mining projects in South America. Since 2010, he has driven strategic initiatives that combine innovation, operational excellence, and value creation for clients in the mining industry.

Andrés has over 20 years of experience in the mining and engineering industries, of which more than 15 have been at Ausenco. He currently serves as Vice President of Ausenco in Peru, leading the company's strategy and growth in the country, with a focus on creating value for clients, developing high-performance teams, and achieving excellence in project execution.

Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions such as Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Delivery Manager, overseeing engineering and execution projects for major mining companies in Chile and Peru. His experience encompasses the development of mineral and metals projects, from engineering phases to construction, and commissioning.

Among the most notable projects he has led are:

  • Mantoverde (Chile)
  • Zafranal (Peru)
  • EWS Commissioning (Chile)

As Vice President of Ausenco in Peru, Andrés leads the development and expansion of the company’s operations in the country, promoting a culture based on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. He also drives the strengthening of client relationships and the development of engineering solutions that contribute to the sustainable growth of the mining industry.

Andrés holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Chile.
