Turi Innes is a Senior Study Manager with more than 36 years of experience delivering studies, engineering leadership, commissioning, and operational improvement across the global mining and resources sector. She has successfully led scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility and capital efficiency studies for a diverse range of commodities, including rare earths, copper, gold, iron ore, magnetite, nickel, vanadium and uranium.
Her experience spans projects across Australia, South America, Africa, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Thailand, supporting both greenfield and brownfield developments. Turi has led major study programs, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, commercially aligned outcomes.
Throughout her career, Turi has developed extensive expertise in engineering management, sustaining capital delivery, technical governance, materials handling, plant operations, commissioning, operability improvements, energy efficiency and reliability optimisation for complex processing facilities. Her background in electrical engineering, combined with hands-on operational and project delivery experience, enables her to balance technical excellence with practical, value-focused solutions.
Holding qualifications in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Technology Management, Turi is recognised for her collaborative leadership, commercial acumen and ability to guide complex studies from concept through to investment-ready outcomes. She works closely with clients to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that reduce risk, maximise value and support successful project delivery.
