Last month, our team had the opportunity to participate in Expoman 2024, an event promoted by Abraman (Brazilian Association of Asset Management and Maintenance) in Salvador/BA. The event proved to be a valuable platform for strengthening our network of relationships, presenting innovative solutions to companies from various industry sectors, as well as strengthening our ties with existing clients.

“Expoman was an excellent opportunity to expand our brand presence beyond the mining sector. During the event, we had the chance to demonstrate our cutting-edge solutions in asset management and maintenance, such as maintenance diagnostics and ISO 55001, maintenance strategies, list of techniques, asset integrity, management models, work management, operational readiness and initial control and others. We also talked about how these solutions add value in different industries, states Wilson Bernado, Ausenco’s business development manager for asset optimization and operational readiness.

Innovation and expertise in asset management

At the event, Ausenco had set up a booth, where our team had productive conversations with professionals from various sectors, highlighting our unique approach to asset optimization and maintenance management. We provided examples of how our solutions can help companies increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the longevity of their assets, whether in mining, energy or other industries.

Contributing to the transformation of industries

In addition to the exhibition, our team took part in the Congress by presenting a technical talk on early maintenance strategies in capital projects. The discussion covered best practices to ensure operational readiness and asset optimization, especially in large, highly complex projects. This type of strategy is essential for projects to have better control from their conception to the execution phase, ensuring they are completed within the budget.

The presentation included a case study on tailings filtration and the results prove the effectiveness of this approach on projects, where we helped the client to:

  • Mitigate process bottlenecks via reliability simulation
  • Reduce ramp-up time (estimated at 15%)
  • Reduce downtime due to lack of spare parts
  • Reduce premature failure rates
  • Increase efficiency and adherence to medium to long-term planning

Participation in Expoman is yet another demonstration of Ausenco's commitment to offering innovative solutions that keep pace with industry trends and new market requirements. With a robust portfolio of solutions for asset optimization and operational readiness, we are increasingly present in different market sectors, always seeking to add value and boost the performance of our customers' operations.
