The Greenest Employers were evaluated according to four key factors: unique environmental initiatives or program development; success in reducing their own environmental footprint; employee involvement in these programs, including individual contribution of unique skills; and the success of environmental initiatives in connecting to the employer’s public identity to attract new people who share the same values.
