Ausenco was selected by GAS Arabian Services Co., Ltd. to perform system integration to incorporate leak detection and corrosion monitoring data into Saudi Aramco’s graphical information system (GIS).
The installed system provides the client with remote access to critical, real-time data by sending text messages in the event of a leak; containing leak location, leak alarm and pipeline name. Locations are determined through Amarco’s existing network.
Ausenco provided all the hardware and software required to permit the existing GIS to display leak detection and corrosion monitoring alarm and status data, including leak detection and corrosion monitoring system servers.
In addition, we provided the programming necessary to allow the system to communicate with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
