Not striving for innovation and optimisation will inevitably lead to slipping backwards. Helping industry improve returns through innovation is what we do best.

Campbell joined Ausenco in 2025 after an operational career in the copper-gold industry, most notably as the metallurgical superintendent at Cadia Operations in NSW, Australia.

At Ausenco, Campbell focuses on the development, innovation and evaluation of new technologies and flowsheet strategies within the global comminution group. He provides critical input for engineering design projects, collaborates with operational teams, and assesses the economics of enhanced process technologies, such as dry comminution, coarse particle flotation and bulk ore sorting. Campbell is a leader in assessing and improving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes for projects related to tailings, water, and energy.

Campbell holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy) from Curtin University in Western Australia and is a chartered professional with AusIMM. In 2025, he was awarded the prestigious CEEC medal for Operation and Design.
