I believe that true operational readiness goes beyond checklists—it’s about building resilient systems, empowering people, and aligning every detail with the long-term vision of the operation. That’s where lasting value is created.

Yanitza brings key expertise in Operational Readiness, helping clients achieve nameplate capacity and key operational KPIs through a structured and client-centric approach.

Currently serving as a Senior Operational Readiness Consultant, she plays a pivotal role in major development projects by implementing standardized readiness frameworks and driving execution aligned with strategic business objectives. She is a key contributor to the Centinela Capacity Expansion Project for AMSA and the ACP Expansion Project for CMDIC, where she leads efforts to identify and bridge gaps in strategy and execution planning.

Earlier in her career, Yanitza held technical leadership roles at several engineering consulting firms, where she spearheaded complex transformation initiatives—including international assignments in Kazakhstan—and oversaw engineering design phases for major clients such as Codelco, Sierra Gorda SCM, and Minera Zaldívar. In these roles, she managed multidisciplinary teams and delivered process solutions across feasibility, basic, and detailed engineering stages.

Yanitza holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Concepción in Chile, a Certificate in Business Management and Mining Operations from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is currently pursuing a master’s in project management at the Universitat de Barcelona.
