The prestigious Art MacPherson Comminution award, bestowed though the Canadian Mineral Processing Society of CIM, is given to an individual who brings a significant contribution to the advancement of comminution.

Considered one of the world’s most respected comminution experts, Greg is passionate about the development, advancement and refinement of process engineering tools, capabilities and delivered solutions. He challenges typical practices in comminution circuit design and operation, is supportive of novel technologies and is known for his dedication for advancing the field. His work has resulted in outstanding contributions to energy-efficient comminution around the globe.

Author of over 40 technical papers, and keynote speaker at numerous major conferences, he is a prominent figure in the industry, known for sharing his knowledge and passion for advancing comminution. Greg’s encouragement and support for new engineers is appreciated by many.

Greg is an active member of the of the Coalition for Energy Efficient Comminution (CEEC) which has the mission to accelerate information, knowledge and technology transfer; and to increase shareholder value through improved comminution practices.
