Antonio Iruretagoyena is a Structural Engineer from the University of Chile, with a Master in Structures and Geotechnics from the Catholic University of Chile, with more than 20 years of experience. After a long period working at the engineering consulting company Ruben Boroschek y Asociados (RBA) with specialization in seismic design and risk assessment of mining projects, he joined Ausenco in 2019, first as a structural engineering specialist, and then rising through different roles up to his current position as Engineer Director.
He was part of the team that developed the design of the Mantoverde plant, the first mining EPC lump sum project in Chile delivered 100% ready to begin operations.
Antonio's leadership style is characterized by his human approach, focusing on teamwork and the development of high-performance teams. He currently manages a team of over 200 people.
