Throughout his professional career, Camilo has led multidisciplinary teams in Africa, Latin America, and North America, contributing to the development of strategic and sustainable solutions for asset management and operational reliability.

He currently serves as Operations Manager, based in Santiago, where he leads South America operations for the asset optimisation consulting team. His work focuses on strengthening relationships with major industrial operators in the region and building technical capabilities within the team. In previous roles, he has worked at organizations such as BHP, Stork, and Siemens, serving as Senior Consultant, Project Manager, and Reliability Specialist.

Some of the key projects he has contributed to include the global deployment of maintenance and reliability strategy design and governance models for Anglo American and De Beers; asset management diagnostics aligned with ISO 55000 for companies such as CMPC, Ocensa, and the Colombian Navy; and the implementation of SAP-PM and APM-Meridium systems across various organizations. His technical expertise, combined with his strategic vision, makes him a key reference in operational transformation and excellence in asset management.

Camilo has a solid academic background complemented by international certifications. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Strategic Operations Management and Innovation at the University of Barcelona, and holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Valencia (Spain). Additionally, he is a CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), a certified auditor in ISO 55000 and ISO 55001, and a PROSCI® Practitioner in change management.
